This role is designed for candidates who are interested in entering the care sector but may lack experience or a clear understanding of what the work involves.

This opportunity provides structured training, industry exposure and on the job training to support the successful applicant to build a long-term career in the space.

About the opportunity:

As a Trainee, you will:

• Complete industry training to gain foundational knowledge of the aged care and community services sector
• Gain hands-on exposure by working alongside industry professionals, learning what the role involves day-to-day
• Participate in work experience placements at Fairfield and surrounding areas may be required

As part of the pre-traineeship, completed prior to commencing a full qualification, participants will undertake selected units of competency, including:

• CHCCCS041 – Recognise healthy body systems
• CHCCOM005 – Communicate and work in health or community services
• HLTWHS002 – Follow safe work practices for direct client care

About You

We are looking for candidates who:

• Are genuinely interested in working in aged care or community services
• Have a caring, reliable and respectful attitude
• Are willing to learn and commit to training and placement
• Have good communication skills
• Are Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents

No previous experience is required — full support and guidance are provided.
