We are looking for a Vice President of Clinical Services to join our team!

The VP of Clinical Services is responsible for managing clinical operations, services, personnel performance, and team management. The VP of Clinical Services will execute population health initiatives, improving patient outcomes and enhancing quality of care, while ensuring clinical compliance with appropriate policies and procedures. The VP of Clinical Services provides solution-based ideas and collaborate with cross functional teams to develop and implement innovative care models, leverage technology, and optimize resource utilization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review and understand current market contracts, focusing on performance and outcome expectations
- Maintain relationships and collaborate professionally with health plan colleagues to assure goals and
outcomes are being met - Develop and execute a comprehensive nursing and clinical strategy aligned with the organization’s population health mission and objectives
- Develop and maintain a staffing matrix that aligns with goals and assure appropriate staffing aligns
with market strategy, and adjust as needed - Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, providing clinical expertise and insights to
inform strategic decision-making and ensure achievement of organizational goals/targets
- Oversee the development and implementation of innovative care management programs including Intensive Care Management (ICM), Social Services Care Management (SSCM), and ancillary teams within the market
- Collaborate with clinical and operational leadership to coach, develop and train staff to deliver high-quality care
- Work with the executive team to drive the integration of technology and data analytics to optimize care delivery, improve population health outcomes, and enhance operational efficiency
- Direct, supervise, mentor, and evaluate work activities of the entire Clinical Services department to achieve optimal efficiency, morale, and employee/provider/patient satisfaction
- Operate in a fiscal and responsible manner to identify financial and other resources needed to achieve organizational goals/targets
- In collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer, or designee, provide direct operational oversight and efficiency to the Home Wellness Program providers
- Provide ongoing day to day supervision and support of the department leaders
- Update and implement organizational policies and procedures for Clinical Services and Home Wellness Program
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulatory and accreditation standards, including but not limited to CMS, and NCQA requirements
- Develop and execute a comprehensive nursing and clinical strategy aligned with the organization’s population health mission and objectives
- Monitor performance including metrics development/collection and tracking to successfully
meet/exceed operational goals - Maintain awareness of advances in health care, government regulations, health insurance changes,
and financing options
- Prepare all reports and submit all reports timely to inform management of the status and
performance of programs, services, and quality initiatives - Manage changes in integrated health care delivery systems, such as work restructuring, technological
innovations, and shifts in the focus of care
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall effectiveness of the organization.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing; Masters preferred
- Current and valid RN license (required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Current TB test and annual screening as determined by company policy
- Current unrestricted state driver’s license with personal reliable transportation; Proof of liability coverage
- Experience with electronic medical records systems
- Experience in population health (preferred).
- Experience in value-based healthcare, clinical, quality, and risk adjustment operations (preferred)
- Excellent business development acumen with the ability to identify growth opportunities.
- Excellent leadership, management, and communication skills with ability to work collaboratively with other departments and external stakeholders; must be fluent in both spoken and written English and maintain professionalism in all verbal and written correspondence with both internal and external clients.
- Able to utilize necessary programs to ensure effective communication, collection of metrics, and proprietary software; including but not limited to: Microsoft product suite, Adobe Suite
