We are looking for a Provider Relations Representative to join our team!

How You'll Make a Difference:

The Provider Relations Representative will be responsible for ensuring the success of patient care and provider engagement. They will foster positive relationships with patients, providers, and health plan representatives, acting as a liaison to facilitate coordination of care. The Provider Relations Representative will be embedded within provider practices, working closely with both field providers and primary care teams to ensure timely care delivery and positive patient outcomes. They will educate providers on Arkos Health services, policies, and best practices, track provider performance metrics, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with providers and patients, serving as the primary point of contact for information, problem-solving, and engagement activities
  • Complete outreach communication with providers and patients regularly, addressing inquiries, providing information, and ensuring both feel supported and informed
  • Educate providers on Arkos Health services, health plan policies, performance improvement initiatives, and best practices, providing ongoing support and facilitating group training sessions
  • Efficiently manage multiple tasks, balancing provider engagement, patient outreach, and administrative duties to ensure effective execution of responsibilities
  • Review and analyze provider and practice performance data (including EMR data, patient outcomes, satisfaction, and clinical metrics) to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement strategies for improving patient and provider outcomes, including targeted outreach, performance improvement plans, and process enhancements based on data insights
  • Oversee and coordinate patient referrals, ensuring smooth communication between internal teams and primary care providers, and track outcomes to drive continuous improvement
  • Track, analyze, and report on key provider and patient metrics (e.g., quality, risk performance, incentive outcomes), and provide actionable insights to drive improvement
  • Organize and lead provider meetings, luncheons, and other engagement events to strengthen relationships, promote Arkos initiatives, and foster collaboration within the network
  • Guide providers in using performance data and reports to identify areas for improvement, set goals, and make informed decisions that support organizational objectives
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute strategies aimed at increasing patient engagement with provider practices, including distributing promotional materials and participating in events like health fairs and employer group activities
  • Provide training to providers and practice staff on performance improvement initiatives, coding/billing, operational procedures, and how to leverage data for better outcomes
  • Travel to local provider offices and events (e.g., health fairs, broker events, provider programs) to promote Arkos Health services, enhance provider engagement, and increase patient interaction
  • Maintain accurate provider contact notes, update systems (e.g. Arkos 360 Database), and provide timely updates to supervisors on key activities and issues
  • Ensure leadership is well-informed of any provider or patient issues and/or concerns and support the resolution of these in a timely and consistent manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall effectiveness of the organization

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school degree or GED equivalent
  • At least 2 years experience in a healthcare environment
  • Availability for evening and weekend work events is required
  • Current unrestricted state Driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance
  • Must have proof of current TB test- company provided
  • Current Hep B test- or waiver – company provided
  • Current Flu shot- or waiver and mask- company provided
  • Prior experience with provider networks and contracting with physicians
  • Must be able to interact with healthcare professionals
  • Knowledge of medications, medical terminology, and patient care
