How You'll Make a Difference:
The RN Supervisor will be responsible for day-to-day supervision of the RN Care Managers. They will optimize workflows, member experience, and implement strategic methods to achieve success within the RN Care Manager program. The RN Supervisor will ensure member needs are addressed with the highest level of care adhering to all polices and regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance through leadership
- Follow expected productivity standards and maintain active competency of areas within supervision
- Demonstrate skills and abilities of RN roles including ability to be an active RN team member
- Maintain and ensure the successful process flow of all departmental duties
- Oversee appropriate orientation and onboarding for new staff
- Develop, apply and monitor ongoing competencies, training and employee growth and conduct all performance evaluations
- Assist and resolve any issues with members, staff, etc. in a professional and timely manner
- Formulates disciplinary actions as appropriate in conjunction with Director
- Review and approve weekly time off, attendance, and mileage and prepare and report results to Director
- Monitors and maintains performance of staff
- Monitor and maintains productivity
- Monitoring on time completion of chart reviews/ audits for direct reports
- Monitoring SOC and Case load volume and being responsible for tracking and maintaining appropriate case load and active care plans.
- Prepare and maintain metrics as requested and ability to analyze metrics and identify process improvements
- Prepare and investigate any quality issues or complaints and reports to Director
- Conduct regular audits of work to ensure regulatory, corporate, and partner standards are met
- Effectively communicate among departments to promote teamwork within and interdepartmentally
- Act as a resource for staff issues and questions
- Maintain a strong teamwork philosophy and willingness to proactively accept change
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing required
- Current, unrestricted Georgia nursing license required
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Current TB testing, Hep B vax/titer proof (Company does offer/or may sign a declination) and current immunizations up to date and on file as required
- Must have valid driver’s license and appropriate liability car insurance
- 2 years prior leadership in nursing scope and process with the ability to coach on this topic
- Decision Making: Makes appropriate decisions for clinical team issues, necessary performance counseling and appropriately request assistance from Supervisory team when necessary
- Computer Skills: Able to utilize necessary programs to ensure effective communication and collection of metrics; including but not limited to: Microsoft products, CarePointe and other software as necessary;
Must be able to track data, analyze, and report through software such as Excel
- Problem Solving: Must maintain leadership-level Clinical problem-solving skills, with the ability to operate independently and provide necessary clinical guidance to field-based clinical teams
- Presentability: Must have the ability to present the organization in a professional manner when interacting with health plans and external entities and partners,
- Expectation may be to participate in the Mobile Outreach services
- Experience in Care Management- required
- Knowledge and experience in Population Health-preferred
