We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to design and implement a backend application that integrates directly with MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5) Manager and Server APIs.
The initial engagement will focus on automating administrative tasks and bulk system management operations within our trading platform.
Your EDGE assignment/You will:
- Design, develop, and maintain a backend tool interfacing with the MT4/MT5 Manager API.
- Implement key functionalities including:
- Bulk account management (updates, group assignments, symbol configurations)
- Automated financial operations (deposits, withdrawals, balance adjustments)
- Trade management (open, update, close trades programmatically)
- Automated and on-demand reporting
- Ensure secure and efficient communication between backend systems and MT servers.
- Integrate backend services with internal systems (CRM, reporting tools, user management).
- Create tools for data truncation, inactive account cleanup, and automated fee charging.
- Develop automation features that reduce manual intervention and streamline backend operations.
- Write and maintain technical documentation, notes, and specifications.
- Provide handover and transition support to internal teams as needed.

Technical Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in backend development and API integration with MetaTrader 4/5 Manager and Server APIs.
- Strong proficiency in C++, C#, and/or Python.
- Experience building TNL bridges and similar integration layers.
- Deep understanding of API architecture, data structures, and secure communication protocols.
- Demonstrated ability to build automation tools to minimize manual processes.
- Familiarity with data truncation tools and automated maintenance utilities.
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation and manuals.
Preferred Experience
- Previous work developing tools or backend systems for financial trading platforms.
- Understanding of trading operations, account management workflows, and MetaTrader environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern backend frameworks.
