Build the Dealer Engine Behind a Scaling Fintech

Ayan is an FCA-regulated direct lender building car finance products that give dealerships access to an entirely underserved customer segment.

We are backed by institutional investors and have reached the stage where distribution, not product is the constraint. The next phase of growth depends on building a dealer network that converts into real, sustained volume.

This role exists because that work now needs a dedicated owner.

The Role

You will build Ayan’s dealer network from early traction to real scale — primarily through phone, email and video outreach, with selective travel where it matters.

You will work directly with the COO to turn dealer acquisition into a repeatable, performance-driven process.

Success in this role is measured by active dealers and funded deal volume, not conversations or activity metrics.

What You’ll Own

  • Identifying and prioritising dealerships in high-opportunity areas across the UK
  • Pitching dealer principals and F&I managers on a product that gives them access to an underserved customer segment
  • Leading commercial discussions with dealerships and agreeing partnership terms
  • Driving dealer activation — onboarding, first-deal support and ongoing performance
  • Managing a structured pipeline with clear conversion targets
  • Feeding dealer insights and market feedback back into product and operations

Who This Is For

You likely have:

  • A full UK driving licence
  • B2B sales or business development experience in motor finance, lending, or dealer services
  • A track record of opening commercial relationships and converting them into sustained volume
  • Confidence handling commercial and pricing conversations with senior dealership staff
  • The discipline to work autonomously against clear targets
  • Experience in an early-stage or fast-moving commercial environment

No Islamic finance background is required. What matters is your ability to open doors, build trust with dealerships, and convert relationships into funded deals.

Why Join

  • Direct ownership of Ayan’s core growth channel
  • Strong base salary with performance based bonus
  • Equity participation aligned with the long-term growth of the business
  • Clear accountability — your targets are funded deals, not activity metrics
  • Work directly with the founding team and shape how distribution is built
