We are seeking an experienced Logistics Analyst on to support our global operations on contract basis.

What You Will Do:

• Monitor volume and spending in all logistics categories and identify cost saving opportunities.

• Use data mining to extract information from data sets and identify correlations and patterns

• Organize and transform information into comprehensible structures

• Perform statistical analysis of data

• Use tools and techniques to visualize data in easy-to-understand formats, such as diagrams and graphs

• Prepare reports and present these to management or clients

• Identify and recommend new ways to save money by streamlining business processes

• Monitor data quality and remove corrupt data

• Communicate with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements

• Prepare and update rate summaries in excel.

• Review and evaluate freight invoices for accuracy.

• Implement freight payment General Ledger Coding Matrix for multiple business units, ensure accuracy.

• Ensure smooth movement of merchandise by working directly with our broad carrier base.

• Work with our internal cross-functional teams, vendors, freight forwarder and carriers to make sure inbound and outbound shipments are booked and shipped timely, and in the most cost-efficient method.

• Maintain contract rates and tariffs, including applicable surcharges.

• Provide internal customer support to Distribution, Compliance, Supply Chain, Global Operations, and Finance. This is specific to daily tracking, expedited shipments, product freight cost analysis, invoice approval.

What You Will Bring:

• BS in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics or related discipline.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with both Domestic US, and International Logistics.

• Understanding of Global transportation carriers and services.

• Strong understanding of incoterms.

• General knowledge of transport tariffs.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, with capability to analyze data and utilize findings to make improvements.

• Experience working with Freight Payment Centers.

• Strong systems aptitude. Experience in Oracle Cloud is a strong plus
