Job Description
What you'll do
Research as a source of innovation: Collaboration with the related Brooks Automation team, customers, and university/research organizations for the best outcome
Continuous development of existing processes and technologies with a high focus on quality and adherence to deadlines
Precise problem analysis and derivation of suitable solutions
Run feasibility studies, develop new technical concepts, and investigate their expected performances
Run feasibility study, prepare protocols for the experiment, and investigate existing ideas
Provide technical support to other departments when needed (engineering, product management, marketing, sales, etc.)
Perform scientific and technical assistance
This position may require some travel to attend conferences, trainings, and visits to enhance knowledge and professional development
Customer support when needed
What you'll bring
PhD education in Physics or related
You're highly motivated for research and development
You have the knowledge or the motivation to learn about semiconductor industry and its processes, in particular about the vacuum process, contamination in the semiconductor industry, polymer structure and properties, etc.
High self-motivation, good communication skills and assertiveness
You're goal-oriented, structured, result-oriented and enjoy an independent working style as well as the ability to work in a team
You seek to set the right priorities and aim for delivering good results
