Robot Repair SupervisorJob Description
Brooks is looking for a Robot Repair Supervisor as we accelerate our growth journey. This will be an onsite role based out of our Chelmsford, MA, Corporate Headquarters.
Directs the development and implementation of activities in robotics repair area(s) to meet repair goals, quality, and cost objectives. Prioritize schedules based on promise date, work cell load, and materials supply. Plans and administer repair procedures, material supply, and technician training. Makes recommendations regarding controls, capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor. Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Directly supervise a team of approximately 20 employees.
Hire, develop, train, and grow various work cells to meet customer demand.
Own and drive Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for department including safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
Leverage data analytics to identify, prioritize, and drive root cause corrective actions.
Work with engineering and quality to report possible defects and quality issues to the production area or suppliers.
Assist in developing both short term (1 year) and long term (3-5 year) operations strategy.
Drive continuous improvement through the real implementation of Lean manufacturing and SPC.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 3 years of operational experience in a manufacturing supervisory role.
Knowledge of repair or field service within a relevant industry.
Experience with Safety Protocols (people and product) regarding manufacturing, automation, or robotics.
Technical aptitude including complex machinery.
Experience in the Semiconductor industry or Industrial Robotics is highly desirable. Experience working in a cleanroom environment is desired.
Strong verbal and written communications skills, including MS Office and a major ERP system. Ability to create and decipher reports.
Results driven with the ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
