Quality Inspector

Job Description

What you’ll do:

Perform inspections of materials, in-process and finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
Apply approval or rejection labels to materials based on analytical data.
Assess draft and final label copy, using knowledge of labeling regulations.
Minimize down time by reducing production rework and recalls.
Follow established procedures, processes, or policies, but use judgment in resolving issues or recommending solutions.
Participate in project teams or lead portions of projects.
Complete final inspection before a product is moved to distribution.
Provide resolutions from basic to moderately complex problems.
Serve as a liaison between Technicians and Manufacturing Engineers.

What you’ll bring:

High school diploma or equivalent.
2-4 years of experience in quality inspection or related field required.
Ability to follow established procedures, processes, or policies, but use judgment in resolving issues or recommending solutions.
Ability to participate in project teams or lead portions of projects.
Thorough knowledge of the basic principles, practices, and processes in the applicable discipline and a working knowledge of related fields.
Ability to provide resolutions from basic to moderately complex problems.
Ability to exercise judgment within procedures and practices in selecting methods and techniques for arriving at solutions.
Moderate computer skills.
