Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Territory Business Development Manager to expand sales and develop key customer and integrator relationships in Mexico. The Territory Manager will ensure alignment of sales strategies, customer targeting, and execution, while also exploring opportunities in primarily industrial applications such as electronics and logistics and markets in life science laboratory automation.
Description: General Summary
Being a sales contributor for PCR is an exciting and dynamic role selling to the fastest growing market niche in robotics; collaborative robots (cobots). The Territory Manager must be a self-motivated independent entrepreneur leveraging a broad base of experience, technical knowledge, marketing acumen and strategic thinking to find and close new OEMs in their assigned territory. PCR is looking for that rare sales territory manager who can be a consultative, problem-solving partner who is highly valued by their customers while identifying and closing big opportunities. Our best candidates are persistent, enterprising individuals who synthesize information and knowledge across multiple sources to discover and penetrate unique markets and application niches fitting PCR’s cobots.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect by developing a target customer list and networking
Close leads from trade shows and online marketing efforts
Strategically develop new market or applications for Precise Automation Cobots
Identify and manage relationships with system integration partners
Understand customers manufacturing problem and how they measure ROI
Create sales and marketing support documents for system integration partners
Represent Precise Automation at trade shows and other business functions
Manage assigned OEM customers and continue market penetration for target markets
Drive revenue growth above the market rate
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, life sciences, or a related field.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in robotics, automation, lab equipment, or related high-technology markets.
Strong knowledge of laboratory automation markets; familiarity with industrial automation markets
Proven success in driving sales growth and developing new accounts and customer relationships.
Experience with Customer Relationship Management Software, preferably Salesforce.com
Prescence on Linkedin.com
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Ability to message appropriately from Chief Officer suite to manufacturing engineers
Ability to travel frequently across Mexico (30%+). Potentially Central and South America
Fluency in Spanish and English required

Key Relationships
a) Internal - Reports directly to PRC Director of Sales. Mentored by the USA salesperson currently covering Mexico. No current direct reports. Must align with all departments within the organization including Sales, Operations, R&D, Finance and Manufacturing
b) External - Create, nurture, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within integration channel partners and OEM target customers.
