Laboratory Automation Solutions (LAS), our clinical diagnostic division, specialize in the design and manufacture of compact, innovative benchtop automation for optimizing pre- and post-analytical workflows in pathology and analytical laboratories, and has installations worldwide.

Position 1 – Test Engineering Intern
What You’ll Do:
Support testing and validation of robotic lab automation systems
Assist with firmware calibration, sensor debugging, and mechanical testing
Conduct root cause analysis and prepare documentation for internal and international deployments
Participate in exploratory activities and proof-of-concept calibration
What You’ll Bring:
2nd–3rd year student in Biomedical, Mechatronics, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
Comfortable with hands-on testing and hardware/software systems
Curious, proactive, and communicative
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Eligibility Criteria:

Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have full working rights
Be available to work full-time during the internship period
Be able to attend work daily at our Virginia, Brisbane office
Be studying a relevant engineering discipline
