We are looking for a Shipping / Materials Coordinator to help accelerate our growth journey.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Process and coordinate shipments, both domestic and international, using Oracle Cloud.
Act as backup shipping resource, becoming the primary shipping resource as needed.
Utilizes knowledge of receiving and/or distribution and packaging equipment in order to perform a variety of materials handling tasks.
Uses judgment requiring location and storage of items, proper packaging, methods of movement of materials, and release of materials.
Effectively works in a team setting, supporting team goals and objectives.
Responsible for performing the physical and / or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
Performs a variety of coordinating, routing and material handling duties.
Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items.
Handles a variety of packages and parts, lifting or moving 5-45 lbs. Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift.
Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment.
Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. Emphasis on material coordination.
Visually inspect for defects or damage per Quality Control documents. Support Quality Alert process for internal and external customer complaints, quality issues, corrective and preventative actions.
Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required.
Uses judgment requiring location and storage of items, proper packaging, methods of movement of materials, and release of materials. Keeps accurate logs (both written and on computer).
Coordinate and/or executes special projects as required by the Department. Responsible for conducting daily cycle counts to maintain accurate inventories.
Ensure internal shipments/Kitting is accurate and free of damage.
Maintains a clean, neat and orderly work area. Proactively identify and report safety and complaint concerns. Finish work in a timely manner
Expected to contribute to the development of techniques, processes, and practices that advance the effectiveness of the organization or function.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a material handling role in a warehouse setting.
Minimum of 2 years of processing shipments in an ERP system experience preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of Oracle experience is preferred.
Basic math and PC skills.
Strong attention to detail, reading, writing, basic arithmetic skills required and ability to follow procedures and safety protocols.
Lifting or moving of 5 to 45 lbs.
Ability to utilize material handling equipment to move materials (like pallet jack).
