About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Salesforce Administrator to manage and optimize our global Salesforce environment. As the sole Salesforce resource at Brooks Automation, you will play a critical role in ensuring the platform’s stability, scalability, and alignment with business needs across multiple regions.
This position involves day-to-day administration, implementing configuration changes, and partnering with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective system enhancements. You will also be responsible for maintaining data integrity, managing user access, and driving best practices to maximize the value of Salesforce for the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and administer Salesforce, ensuring data integrity and system performance.
Perform minor configuration changes such as creating fields, updating page layouts, and managing user permissions.
Gather and document business requirements for requested changes and enhancements.
Assist in testing and validating new features or updates before deployment.
Provide user support and training to ensure effective utilization of Salesforce.
Monitor system usage and recommend improvements for efficiency and scalability.
Any other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, with 6–8 years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience.
Salesforce Administrator certification (mandatory).
Advanced certifications (e.g., Salesforce Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder) are a plus.
Must have proven experience managing Salesforce for a global organization or multi-region setup; strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities and best practices.
Experience working independently as the sole Salesforce resource or in a small team.
Strong knowledge of Salesforce configuration: objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, page layouts, record types.
Expertise in user management, security settings, and role hierarchy.
Familiarity with Salesforce integrations (e.g., ERP, HR systems, marketing tools) using APIs or middleware.
Ability to manage data quality, deduplication, and data migration.
Good understanding of Salesforce release management and sandbox environments.
Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills and ownership mindset.
Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
Excellent problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with Salesforce automation tools (Flow Builder, Process Builder, and approval processes).
Familiarity with reporting and dashboard creation.
Performance Optimization: Ability to troubleshoot and optimize Salesforce performance.
Change Management: Experience in deploying changes across multiple environments.
Knowledge of data migration and integration concepts; experience with Salesforce Lightning and migration from Classic.
