Document Control Analyst

Job Description

About the Role:

The Document Control Analyst coordinates the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process and manages document control activities to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely workflow execution. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.

Work Location: Onsite – Johor, Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate ECO process using Agile Product Collaborator for automated workflow management.

  • Review documents for completeness and accuracy.

  • Ensure the documents follow ISO Standards

  • Assign required signatures during review and verification phases.

  • Ensure document retention aligns with company and regulatory requirements

  • Maintain a proper document repository

  • Perform document control administrative tasks such as publishing metrics, maintaining Agile user accounts, and managing approval matrices.

  • Complete assigned tasks to maintain data integrity.

  • Monitor controlled documents

  • Manage restricted/confidential documents related to processes and customers

  • Attend global meetings/calls as required

  • Any other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree with 3–5 years of relevant experience in documentation control in Semiconductor, Manufacturing or Medical industries

  • Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook.

  • Experience with Agile PLM and ERP systems.

  • Detail-oriented, strong communication skills, and ability to work in a customer-service environment.

  • Experience with Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.

  • Understanding of manufacturing and engineering workflows

  • Familiarity with ISO Standards

Preferred Experience:

  • CAD systems (e.g., Creo).

  • Oracle Cloud ERP.

  • Knowledge of rework/purge processes and configuration management.

  • Authoring and updating Quality Management System documents.

  • Providing Agile training

  • Semiconductor industry experience will be highly preferred; similar manufacturing sector exposure such as automotive, industrial manufacturing etc. are an added advantage

  • Computer literate with experience using MS Office (Word, Excel, Access) and Business Intelligence tools as a plus point.

  • Ability to operate in a cross-functional team to meet customer expectations and to work well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, deal with cross functional teams and regulatory authorities

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.

  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational and management skills; fluent in English (spoken & written)

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
