We’re looking for a driven Associate Product Manager to join our team. The Associate Product Manager is responsible for executing marketing support programs for designated products and product lines, including creating promotional materials, conducting sales training, and interacting cross-functionally with other departments to achieve corporate objectives. They participate in developing and executing market research and customer communication strategies. This role collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to identify product requirements, ensure product quality, and plan product enhancements. The Associate Product Manager uses sound judgment and decision-making to work independently within assigned accountabilities.

What you’ll do:

  • Prepares and coordinates marketing support programs, contributes to planning and creating promotional materials, and writes marketing updates and other internal/external communications related to the assigned business line.

  • Develops and maintains competitive files, performs competitive analyses, and becomes a subject matter expert.

  • Leads the development and execution of marketing strategies for their Business Line.

  • Participates in both formal and informal market research and reports findings to the marketing management team.

  • Assists with market analysis, which includes documenting competitive pricing, market share, positioning, and portfolio planning.

  • Assists in developing and delivering training programs and educational presentations to both internal and external audiences.

  • Collaborates effectively to support and update stakeholders, including global marketing and sales teams and customers.

  • Establishes strong relationships with key stakeholders (R&D, Sales, Manufacturing, Finance, Quality & affiliates/customers).

  • Nurtures existing relationships with global key opinion leaders diagnostic testing. Develops new relationships with individuals in areas of clinical/technical interest.

  • Conducts Voice of the Customer (VOC) surveys to assess customer expectations and identify unmet needs.

  • Uses creative solutions and storytelling to develop commercial product training materials and other related collateral to effectively present to diverse audiences.

  • Collaborates and supports all aspects of trade show planning, including working with marketing communications to ensure successful outcomes.

  • Complies with applicable standard operating procedures (SOPs), ISO, and other applicable Quality System regulations, as well as with applicable Environmental Health & Safety, Human Resources, and all other regulatory and administrative policies.

  • Demonstrates company values in quality of work and working relationships.

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (eg Science, Marketing, or related industry);

  • Previous experience working within laboratory industry (IVD industry highly desirable).

  • Previous experience in product management, desirable.

  • Familiarity with laboratory terminology and workflows.

  • Creativity to bring the value of Brooks products to life for our customers, distributors and partners.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.

  • Detail-oriented approach with a commercial mindset to support a high growth business.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, working and managing multiple priorities.

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally when required.
