Oracle Fusion Cloud Technical Manager

Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications Technical Manager to support, enhance, and integrate Oracle Fusion modules across Finance, Supply Chain (SCM), Human Capital Management (HCM), and related areas. This role focuses on technical configurations, integrations, reporting, OCI/OIC development, and production support. The technical manager will collaborate closely with functional teams, business stakeholders, and managed service providers to deliver stable, scalable Oracle Cloud solutions.

Work Location: Onsite – Johor Bahru (OR) Penang.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support & Operations

  • Provide L2/L3 technical support for Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, interface failures, and data discrepancies.

  • Work with Oracle Support and AMS partners for issue investigation and closure.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot ESS jobs, scheduled processes, and integration loads.

Integrations & Development

  • Design, develop, and support integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, FBDI, ADFdi, BI Publisher bursting, and SFTP.

  • Build and maintain inbound/outbound integrations with banks, tax engines, payroll providers, procurement platforms, and logistics systems.

  • Develop scalable integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).

  • Integrate Oracle SaaS applications with third‑party systems using OIC adapters, APIs, and data transfer methods.

  • Leverage OCI services (Object Storage, API Gateway, Autonomous DB) to enhance integration performance and security.

  • Build extensions using Groovy scripting, Application Composer, and Page Composer.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Design, develop, and maintain BI Publisher reports and OTBI analyses.

  • Support operational and financial reporting needs across modules.

Configuration & Release Management

  • Support role‑based security, data access configurations, and user provisioning.

  • Assist with quarterly Oracle Fusion updates, impact analysis, and regression testing.

  • Manage configuration migration across DEV, TEST, UAT, and PROD environments.

  • Maintain technical documentation, interface maps, design specs, and runbooks.

  • Ensure adherence to change management, release management, risk management, and audit controls.

Segregation of Duties Controls (SODC) – Oracle Risk Management

  • Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of Segregation of Duties Controls (SODC) within Oracle Risk Management Cloud.

  • Configure and monitor SOD policies to ensure compliance with corporate governance and audit requirements.

  • Analyze user roles, access privileges, and duty assignments to identify conflicts and enforce proper mitigating controls.

  • Collaborate with business, internal audit, and security teams to define risk thresholds, map sensitive business functions, and maintain compliant access structures.

  • Perform periodic SoD reviews, risk assessments, and access certifications to meet regulatory, SOX, and internal control standards.

  • Troubleshoot SOD policy violations and coordinate remediation activities across functional and technical teams.

  • Maintain documentation for SOD rulesets, mitigation plans, audit findings, and resolutions.

Collaboration & Best Practices

  • Work closely with functional and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Participate in design reviews, solution workshops, and technical decision-making.

  • Ensure solutions follow Oracle and industry best practices.

Any other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 6–10 years of hands‑on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications.

  • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, FBDI, ADFdi, BI Publisher, and OTBI.

  • Strong SQL knowledge and understanding of Oracle Fusion data models.

  • Exposure to at least one functional area: Finance, SCM, or HCM.

  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

  • OIC development experience preferred.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have:

  • Oracle Fusion or OIC certifications.

  • Experience with Vertex, banking integrations, payroll, or logistics systems.

  • Exposure to Oracle EPM/FCCS, OTM/GTM, CPQ, OFS.

  • Experience with SoD Controls (SODC) using Oracle Risk Management.

  • Experience in AMS, managed services, or global delivery models.
