We’re looking for an IT Site Operations Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with a global team of IT professionals to support a broad range of services and solutions designed to establish, maintain, and optimize the technological framework that supports all operations within the facility.
What you’ll do:
Strong understanding of Windows 11, Windows File and Print Server,
Understanding of Active Directory (OU Structure, Security Groups, Distribution Lists, Role-Based Access),
Experience with Microsoft 365 admin center (licenses, mailboxes, Teams, OneDrive),
Familiar with identity lifecycle process,
Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, network connectivity and peripheral issues,
Familiarity with ITIL concepts (Incident, Request, Problem, Change),
Ability for follow SOPs, knowledge articles, and escalation paths,
Excellent customer service, communication and empathy skills,
Ability to handle high-volume ticket queues while maintaining quality,
Excellent communication and documentation skills,
Strong triage / analytical skills to quickly assess issue severity, impact and route tickets to the correct onsite or specialized teams,
Understanding of SLAs, response times, and escalation thresholds,
Clear and concise documentation skills for ticket notes, user symptoms, troubleshooting steps and ticket closure,
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
What you’ll bring:
Degree in IT / computer Engineering and a minimum 7-10 years’ experience in a similar role,
Experience with deploying IT infrastructure and services in a Manufacturing environment,
Good knowledge of Structured Cabling, Network Architecture / Technologies (LAN/WAN/Cloud),
Proficient in setting up and managing LAN/WAN networks.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Autopilot, VMware, Cisco IOS,
Strong problem-solving skill with good understanding of cybersecurity principles,
Experience with help desk software and ticketing systems. Ability to manage and resolve support requests efficiently,
Ability to write and use scripts (PowerShell, Python) to automate repetitive tasks and streamline processes,
In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, storage devices, and peripherals and the ability to troubleshoot and repair hardware issues.
