Key Responsibilities:
Lead Process & Line Design, Documentation, and Control
Drive process definitions, including routings, standard work instructions (WI), PFMEA, control plans, torque and alignment specifications, test protocols, acceptance criteria, and special‑process qualifications (e.g., rework, cleaning, vacuum/leak testing).
Verify that lines, workstations, fixtures, and test equipment meet capability (Cp/Cpk), repeatability, ergonomics, and EHS requirements; identify gaps and drive corrective actions
Ensure disciplined change and revision control, maintaining all process documentation in an audit‑ready state.
NPI, Ramp‑Up & Product Realization
Act as the main liaison for NPI transitions to ensure manufacturing launch readiness.
Lead the introduction and readiness of new designs and lines for high‑volume manufacturing, including DFM/DFA reviews, tooling and fixture readiness, pilot builds, process prove‑out, capability studies (Cp/Cpk), and ramp‑up validation.
Drive full line‑realization planning, including layout, capacity and cycle‑time modeling, staffing, and line‑balancing strategies until stable run‑rate is achieved.
Collaborate with Product Development, Quality, Production, and Supply Chain to ensure manufacturability, process control, training requirements, and operational readiness from NPI through sustaining.
Lead Task Force for Sustaining Issues
Provide daily technical support to production and troubleshoot process and product issues.
Drive structured problem solving (8D, DMAIC, 5‑Why, Fishbone) and implement preventive actions to address yield loss, defects, and build inconsistencies; support MRB activities and drive timely CAPA closure.
Drive performance against MFE KPIs and proactively conduct RCCA/CAPA when targets are at risk.
Tooling, Fixtures, Equipment & Automation
