The Manufacturing & Quality BPO will own global process governance across Plan-to-Make, Make-to-Deliver, and Quality Management domains, ensuring scalable, compliant, and efficient operations that support Brooks’ growth, customer commitments, regulatory requirements, and digital transformation agenda.

This role requires strong transformational leadership, deep domain expertise in manufacturing and quality operations, and the ability to collaborate across Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, IT, and regional Manufacturing teams in a global, matrixed environment.

Work Location: On-Site – Pasir Gudang, Johor Bahru (Malaysia).

Key Responsibilities:

Process Ownership & Design

  • Own and govern global Manufacturing and Quality business processes, including:

    • Bill of Material (BOM) and Work Definition governance
    • Quality management processes (inspection, non-conformance, CAPA, deviation, audit readiness)

  • Define future-state Manufacturing & Quality process architectures aligned with Brooks’ operational strategy, growth roadmap, and customer quality expectations.
  • Identify and prioritize short- and long-term process improvements, standardization opportunities, and automation initiatives across global manufacturing sites.

Transformation & System Enablement

  • Lead Manufacturing & Quality process blueprinting, baseline configuration, and validation for enterprise systems and global initiatives.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable and support Brooks’ organic growth and M&A integration strategy.
  • Advocate for the reduction of manual and Excel-based processes through system adoption and standard data governance

Cross-Functional & Global Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, IT, Finance, and regional manufacturing leaders to align processes with business requirements.
  • Work with other Business Process Owners (e.g., Supply Chain, Inventory, Finance) to ensure seamless end-to-end integration across Plan-to-Make, Source-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash value streams.
  • Drive global alignment, decision-making, and issue resolution where process ownership, site-specific needs, or hand-offs exist.

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Quality, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum 7 - 10 years of experience in Manufacturing Operations, Production Control, Quality Management, or related process domains.
  • Proven experience leading global business process optimization and enterprise system implementations across APAC, Europe, and North America.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing execution, quality systems, and their financial and operational impacts.
  • Experience with regulated or highly controlled manufacturing environments is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional, global initiatives and influence without direct authority.
  • Strong process mindset with the ability to challenge the status quo and drive continuous and transformational improvements.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Experience supporting M&A integration is desirable.
  • Limited domestic and international travel may be required.
