Talent Attraction Partner (1-year contract)Job Description
About the Role:
Brooks is a prominent leader in the Semiconductor industry, well-known for our innovative technology and sustainable solutions. As part of our strategic expansion in Malaysia, we are seeking a Talent Attraction Partner to join our team.
This role will be based at our Greenfield production facility in Pasir Gudang, Johor Bahru, Malaysia and will be mainly responsible for high-volume Manufacturing and Operations recruitment, among others. In this role, you are responsible for building and maintaining the talent pool for multiple assigned functions, while maintaining service excellence at the highest level.
Work Location: Onsite – Pasir Gudang, Johor Bahru.
Contract Duration: 1 Year (with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs).
Language Requirements: Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English & Malay.
Key Responsibilities:
Support high-volume hiring roles such as Operators, Technicians, and other factory-based positions.
Source, screen, and select candidates for various roles utilizing diverse and innovative recruitment channels including job boards, social media, job fairs, open houses and employee referrals, etc.
Conduct initial screenings and manage candidate records in the Workday (ATS).
Ensure job advertisements are clear, attractive, and compliant with company standards and legal requirements.
Provide regular reports and updates on recruitment activities and metrics.
Coordinate interview schedules, candidate communications, and related logistics.
Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment laws and regulations throughout the recruitment process.
Partner with internal teams to support workforce planning and talent management initiatives including job fairs and other recruitment events to attract candidates.
Build relationships with vocational schools, training centers, and other relevant institutions to maintain a steady talent pool for proactive hiring.
Coordinate with HR and other departments to handle new hire paperwork and orientation.
Support all other ad hoc TA or HR projects as assigned.
Qualifications & Competencies:
Minimum 2-3 years of recruitment experience, preferably in high-volume hiring within a Manufacturing or Factory environment -- Agency recruiters looking to move in-house are welcome to apply.
Previous experience in blue-collar recruitment is highly desirable.
Experience using Workday (or similar ATS) will be a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Well-versed in Malaysian Employment Law and common Human Resources principles, practices and metrics related to talent acquisition.
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) in English & Bahasa Malaysia; must be able to engage comfortably and effectively with stakeholders.
Strong administrative and coordination abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
