The Program Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating multiple related projects to achieve strategic business outcomes. This role ensures alignment between projects and organisational goals, drives delivery excellence, and manages dependencies, risks, and stakeholder expectations across the program lifecycle.

What you’ll do:

  • Facilitate end-to-end delivery of engineering and manufacturing programs, ensuring alignment to business and operational goals

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, production, supply chain, quality, and procurement

  • Manage program timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables across multiple concurrent projects

  • Oversee product development lifecycle stages including design, prototyping, validation, and production ramp-up

  • Identify and manage program-level risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring proactive mitigation

  • Establish program governance, reporting frameworks

  • Drive collaboration between technical and operational teams to ensure seamless transition from design to manufacturing

  • Engage key stakeholders (internal and external) to maintain alignment, transparency, and delivery confidence

  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and safety practices

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and manufacturing processes

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or related field

  • Program or project management certification preferred

  • Proven experience managing complex programs within engineering, manufacturing, or industrial environments

  • Strong understanding of product development and manufacturing processes (e.g. NPI, production ramp-up)

  • Ability to lead through influence across multidisciplinary teams, collaborate boldly cross-functionally, and communicate effectively with engineering, operational, and senior leadership stakeholders

  • Experience with program and project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability in a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated experience managing budgets, timelines, and resources

  • Knowledge of quality systems, compliance, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma)

  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills

  • Comfortable providing clear, transparent status updates to senior leadership, including both progress and challenges, with a strong focus on identifying project risks and driving practical mitigation strategies with the team

  • Strength in reporting project metrics, establishing fit-for-purpose reporting methodologies, and securing commitment from stakeholders to provide timely updates and transparently raise blockers or barriers to success

  • Strong leadership, agility, collaboration, and creative thinking to continuously improve how programs are governed, reported, and scaled across the business

  • Successful delivery of programs on time, within budget, and to quality standards

  • Smooth transition from engineering design to manufacturing and production

  • Strong cross-functional alignment with minimal delivery disruption

  • Effective management of risks, supply chain constraints, and production challenges

  • High stakeholder confidence, strong executive visibility, and transparent reporting of program status, risks, blockers, and mitigation actions

  • Continuous improvement in delivery efficiency, reporting discipline, and business scalability enabled through strong leadership, cross-functional alignment, and proactive management of risk
