As we continue to grow, we are looking for a New Product Development (NPD) Project Manager to be responsible for guiding a multi-disciplinary team to successfully deliver high quality new products.

What you’ll do:

• Liaise with customers and internal stakeholders to understand the customer needs, facilitate and communicate solutions, and guide the creation of requirements;

• ​Ensure that all designs, processes and procedures meet or exceeds quality standard ISO13485 certification;

• ​Create project plans and distribute tasks to the project team;

• ​Facilitate the collaboration of multidisciplinary teams to deliver project milestones;

• ​Facilitate deliverables to ensure that new products are fit for purpose and meet cost, quality, compliance and schedule requirements;

• ​Implement processes to ensure effective communication amongst all members of the project team, both internal and external;

• ​Report on project progress to Directors and company leadership as required;

• ​Tracks and analyse project delivery to manage project risks and propose solutions to address challenges. ​​

What you’ll bring:

• Relevant tertiary Engineering qualifications in a relatable discipline;

• ​More than 10+ years experience in managing New Product Introduction project teams;

• ​Proven ability to meet pre-determined timeframes and successfully deliver projects;

• ​An adaptable problem solver;

• ​A strong communicator, capable of building effective relationships with multidisciplinary teams at all levels of the organization;

• ​A strong communicator capable of working directly and effectively with external customers;

• ​An eye for detail;

• ​A solutions oriented focus;

• ​Demonstrable ability to work autonomously and consistently deliver results;

• ​Experience delivering products within an ISO 13485 Quality System is desirable;

• ​A strong team player, mentor and coach for junior colleagues. ​​

• Project management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) is desirable;

• Experience working in cross-functional or global environments preferred
