Test TechnicianJob Description
Job Summary
Perform routine testing, assembly, calibration, and basic troubleshooting of semiconductor equipment under established procedures. Supports other technicians and engineers in day-to-day production activities while ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with cleanroom standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Perform end-of-line testing and burn-in activities according to documented procedures and customer specifications.
Conduct basic assembly, setup, and adjustment of semiconductor equipment, including wafer robots and module sub-assemblies as per operational method sheet (OMS).
Execute predefined test plans and configurations as assigned by supervisors or engineers.
Use standard diagnostic tools and software to collect test data and identify basic issues.
Escalate complex technical problems to senior technicians or engineers with clear documentation.
Read and follow blueprints, schematics, work instructions, and test specifications.
Record test results, data entries, and observations accurately in systems or reports.
Support process improvement initiatives by providing feedback on work instructions and test methods. .
Maintain compliance with safety, electrostatic discharge (ESD), and cleanroom requirements.
Participate in 5S and Lean manufacturing activities as required.
Support line balancing and manpower flexibility through effective multi-skill deployment.
Support adhoc activities when required.
Education, Skills, and Experience
Diploma Electrical, or Electronic Engineering (preferred).
2 - 7 years of experience in electronic or mechanical assembly, testing, or manufacturing environment.
Basic understanding of semiconductor equipment and test methodologies.
Ability to use hand tools, basic test instruments, and measurement equipment.
Good attention to detail and ability to follow standardized procedures.
Basic computer skills for data entry and report documentation.
Willingness to learn and work collaboratively in a team environment.
Willing to work at Pasir Gudang.
Willing to work on rotating shifts (3shifts)
