We are seeking a Accounts Payable Accountant to join our growing team. This role offers a blend of responsibilities across accounts payable, cash application, account reconciliations, and maintaining financial records and reports. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will help drive our financial success and operational efficiency.
What you’ll be doing (Key Responsibilities):
- Enter vendor invoices into the accounting software system accurately and in a timely manner.
- Manage the expense accruals process as part of month-end financial close.
- Apply customer payments to open invoices and independently research and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain an accurate general ledger while ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proactively manage responsibilities to support timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes.
- Provide comprehensive assistance in processing expense reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Support various ad hoc requests, including project coordination and forecasting tasks, to facilitate efficient operations and informed decision-making.
