Overview


Calix is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Solution Architect to innovate in CRM, ERP and Data Science. Join our dynamic team, driving technological excellence.

You’ll partner with business teams and collaborate with Salesforce, Analytics, and Oracle development teams. Design solutions, construct business requirements and enhance processes for transformative business outcomes.

Proficiencies in Jira, Salesforce CRM, Oracle SCM Cloud, MuleSoft, Snowflake and Power BI are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Analysis & Solution Design: Lead comprehensive analysis of business requirements and translate them into scalable, efficient, and secure solutions.

  • Enterprise Architecture: Design and architect solutions that align with organizational objectives while adhering to established architectural standards.

  • Strategic Roadmapping: Define migration strategies from current to future state, providing clear roadmaps for system evolution.

  • AI Architecture & Integration: Develop robust AI architectures that seamlessly integrate advanced AI tools with enterprise systems.

  • AI Solution Evaluation: Assess AI platforms, APIs, and cloud services for scalability, security, and performance; recommend best-fit solutions through technical evaluations.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with architecture specialists, project managers, QA teams, and documentation teams to ensure alignment, quality assurance, and successful adoption.

  • Risk Management: Identify and proactively mitigate risks associated with architectural decisions to ensure reliability and compliance.

  • AI Initiative Leadership: Drive early engagement in AI projects to align with organizational goals and maximize ROI.

  • Knowledge Transfer & Enablement: Support training and documentation efforts to ensure seamless knowledge sharing and user adoption.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in designing, developing, and delivering IT applications and systems.

  • Skilled in aligning business objectives with IT capabilities through effective analysis and solution design.

  • Strong communication skills for translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to develop strategies for maintaining solutions in live production environments.

  • Expertise in risk identification and mitigation.

  • Solid understanding of key business processes: Quote-to-Cash, Renewals, Subscription Analytics, Account/Contact Management.

  • Proficient in enterprise applications: CRM, ERP, Finance, HR-IS, and Product Data Management (PDM).

  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms: Salesforce (Sales, Service, Community Clouds), Oracle ERP & SCM Cloud, Snowflake and Power BI.

  • Quick to learn and apply emerging technologies to meet evolving business needs.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for resolving complex planning challenges.

  • Familiarity with AI tools and practical applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Enterprise Architecture Expertise: Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise architecture solutions, including large-scale AI deployments.

  • AI Governance & Risk Management: Strong familiarity with AI governance frameworks and strategies for risk identification and mitigation.

  • Business Value Translation: Ability to articulate complex AI concepts and translate them into actionable business outcomes.

  • Generative AI Proficiency: Deep expertise in Generative AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, and prompt engineering techniques.

The base pay range for this position varies based on the geographic location. More information about the pay range specific to candidate location and other factors will be shared during the recruitment process. Individual pay is determined based on location of residence and multiple factors, including job-related knowledge, skills and experience.

San Francisco Bay Area:

124,200 - 186,300 USD Annual

Select US Metros and States:

108,000 - 162,000 USD Annual

Other US Locations:

97,200 - 145,800 USD Annual
