About the Role
Join our dynamic team as the Brand and Product Communications Lead in a 9-month max term contract! Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you’ll spearhead the growth and vibrancy of the Cashrewards brand. You’ll shape our brand's strategy, oversee product marketing, and ensure every message we send adds value to our members and merchants. Collaborate closely with other marketing leads and our Creative & Production Team to keep our communications fresh and impactful.

Your Focus

  • Build and lead the Brand and Product Communications team that is responsible for brand, comms planning, PR and social communications and campaigns.
  • Responsible for Cashrewards brand strategy, positioning and direction along with the strategy and direction of our core product suite.
  • Lead brand campaigns from identifying the strategic opportunity, briefing agencies and internal teams, overseeing production and campaign management through to delivering to market and measuring impact and post campaign analysis.
  • Lead the pitching process for external agencies to provide brand creative services to complement our hybrid in-house agency model.
  • Responsible for the PR and Earned Media strategy and delivering innovative campaign ideas that allow Cashrewards to stand out in market and achieve a higher-than-normal share of attention.
  • Oversee the Communications Planning across the broader marketing team to ensure campaigns are insight driven and integrated.

About You

  • Highly creative and strategic thinker with the ability to balance creative and brand considerations with delivering commercial business outcomes.
  • Must have well-built leadership and people management skills. Experience in leading and developing people, both with direct and indirect reporting lines (leading cross-functional teams)
  • Effective stakeholder management is a must, along with influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise competing opportunities and articulate the rationale behind decisions.
  • A desire to execute, drive impact, and develop within our organisation
  • Extensive brand management experience.
  • Experience in briefing and management of integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Understanding of brand and media planning principles and industry trends.
