Ideagen is seeking a Software Test Engineer, who will be an integral part of our Agile development team. You will play a key role in the Software Development Lifecycle ensuring that our SaaS products are delivered to a published roadmap within planned release cycles, with as few defects as possible.

• Design and execute test cases and scripts to validate product quality and user requirements.

• Identify, track, and report defects from both a testing and customer perspective.

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and project teams to ensure thorough testing.

• Participate in project planning, estimation, and Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, demos, retrospectives).

• Develop and maintain test scripts, test data, and automation frameworks.

• Execute and sustain test automation using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, or similar.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Essential:

• 2+ years of professional software testing experience.

• Proven track record in delivering and maintaining web-based software.

• Hands-on experience with automation scripting (Playwright, C#, Selenium, Appium, etc.)

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Desirable:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Azure or Cloud certifications (e.g., AZ-900).

• Cybersecurity qualifications (e.g., CEH).

• Testing certifications (e.g., ISTQB).
