Join our dynamic Agile development team as a Technical Product Owner, where you will play a pivotal role in the Software Development Lifecycle, ensuring the timely delivery of innovative products. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about professional advancement, contributing to Sprint backlog development to drive the achievement of Product team goals.
As a Level 2 Technical Product Owner, you will be responsible for driving the successful development and execution of our products. Your primary focus will be on understanding customer needs, translating them into clear requirements. You will play a critical role in driving the successful development and delivery of our products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and business stakeholders, to define product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure timely and high-quality releases.
Responsibilities
Strategic Impact
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders and internal teams to collect, analyse, and document product requirements to ensure clarity, alignment, and successful execution.
- Communication & Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison between development teams and stakeholders. Maintain clear communication, address questions, and ensure alignment throughout the product lifecycle.
- User Story Development: Convert high‑level product requirements into well‑defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria to guide development.
- Sprint Review & Retrospective Participation: Support sprint reviews to validate deliverables against expectations. Contribute to retrospectives to enhance team efficiency and improve delivery outcomes.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, UX/UI, QA, and business teams to ensure smooth workflows and successful product outcomes.
- Product Launch Support: Assist in planning and coordinating product releases, including creating release plans and supporting launch activities.
- Product Documentation: Create and maintain accurate product documentation, including feature descriptions, release notes, and user guides.
- User Experience Focus: Advocate for a user‑centered design approach and collaborate with UX/UI teams to deliver intuitive and delightful user experiences.
Leadership & Management
- Sprint Planning: Support the Product Manager in defining sprint goals, determining scope, and preparing the team for successful execution.
- Product Backlog Management: Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring items are prioritized, refined, estimated, and aligned with business needs and market changes.
- Agile Development Support: Embrace Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and collaborate with the Scrum Master to ensure timely delivery of product increments.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage key stakeholders, gather feedback, manage expectations, and provide regular updates on progress and challenges.
- Project Management: Track project milestones, identify risks, and support mitigation efforts to ensure smooth and timely product delivery.
Skills and Experience
- 3+ years’ experience as a Product Owner or similar role in an Agile environment.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with a proactive, solution‑driven approach.
- Experience with Agile tools (JIRA/Trello) and familiarity with Scrum or Kanban.
- Knowledge of UX/UI principles, data analytics, and SaaS products is a plus.
- CSPO or similar certification preferred.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Detail‑oriented, adaptable, and comfortable in fast‑paced environments.
- Passion for technology, continuous learning, and innovation.
- Self‑motivated team player with strong ownership and drive.
