As an Account Manager, you’ll become a trusted partner to a portfolio of customers, building long‑term relationships that drive real commercial impact and help our clients get the very best from Ideagen’s solutions. With a consultative mindset and a focus on value, you’ll uncover opportunities for growth, anticipate challenges, and support customers in achieving meaningful outcomes. Working collaboratively across our teams, you’ll contribute directly to expanding our global footprint while developing your own expertise in a dynamic, innovative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead proactive, high‑value engagement across your account portfolio, ensuring a seamless and exceptional customer experience every day
  • Build influential, trust‑driven relationships with key stakeholders to maximise long‑term account value and retention
  • Uncover and convert strategic upsell and cross‑sell opportunities that accelerate growth and deliver measurable commercial impact
  • Drive the full expansion cycle from shaping customer vision to crafting proposals and closing high‑quality agreements
  • Develop insight‑led account plans that align customer goals with Ideagen’s solutions, driving adoption, satisfaction, and ongoing value
  • Collaborate across Product, Customer Success, Marketing, and Commercial teams to create innovative, customer‑centric strategies that strengthen performance and reduce risk

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience hitting targets in account management, within a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong ability to build and grow strategic, long‑term customer relationships that deliver measurable value
  • Demonstrated success driving revenue through upsell, cross‑sell, or renewal activity
  • Skilled at managing multiple accounts or projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality and momentum
  • Confident communicating and presenting to stakeholders at all levels, including senior decision‑makers
  • Commercially astute, with strong negotiation skills and the ability to develop compelling proposals and insights; SaaS experience is a plus
