THE OPPORTUNITY

Harvard Bioscience is currently seeking a Production Worker in our Reutlingen office to support our expanding production footprint and growing demand for our solutions. The Production Worker will contribute to the efficient manufacturing of high‑quality products by performing production and assembly tasks, following established processes, and collaborating closely with production, quality, and logistics teams. This position plays an important role in supporting day‑to‑day operations and actively contributing to the successful execution of our growth strategy.

Essential Job Functions

  • Assembly, commissioning, and testing of mechanical and electronic solutions
  • Documentation of test results in test reports
  • Troubleshooting based on test results and circuit diagrams/schematics
  • Repair and maintenance of customer equipment
  • Recording of material usage and labor time in the ERP system

skills and abilities required

  • Confident use of common measurement equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.)
  • Very good hand‑soldering skills (SMD & THT) as well as strong mechanical aptitude
  • Good knowledge of PC‑based test environments
  • Experience with common MS Office applications and working with an ERP system
  • Good German language skills, both written and spoken

Bonus skills and experience

  • Professional experience in a production environment (career starters with relevant training are also welcome)
  • Nice to have: English language skills

Education and Experience and/or equivalent

  • Completed apprenticeship in electronics, mechatronics, or a comparable field

Physical demands

  • This position involves primarily bench‑ and workstation‑based activities.
  • Occasional lifting and handling of heavier components or assemblies may be required.
  • The role also involves standing, sitting, and performing fine manual tasks.
