THE OPPORTUNITY

Harvard Bioscience is currently seeking a Warehouse Worker at our Reutlingen site to support our expanding production footprint and growing customer demand. This role combines warehouse and logistics activities with simple, routine production-related tasks, ensuring smooth material flow, reliable inventory levels, and basic production support. The position plays a key role in maintaining operational efficiency across warehouse and production.

Essential Job Functions

  • Picking and commissioning of goods for production and shipment
  • Coordination of goods receipt and dispatch, including execution of related inventory transactions in the warehouse management system
  • Ensuring proper storage & packaging of products in line with internal quality standards
  • Performing regular stock checks and inventory counts to ensure accurate inventory levels
  • Investigating potential posting errors, carrying out corrective inventory postings, and implementing corrective and preventive measures
  • Supporting production by providing components in accordance with production schedules
  • Performing simple manual production tasks, e.g. basic assemblies, labeling, packaging, or repackaging of products as well as simple inspection of parts and assemblies

skills and abilities required

  • Experience working with warehouse management systems and MS Office applications
  • Experience with Kanban systems and standard warehouse processes
  • Reliable and detail‑oriented working style
  • Experience with common MS Office applications and working with an ERP system
  • Good German language skills, both written and spoken

Bonus skills and experience

  • Several years of professional experience in a warehouse and production environment
  • Nice to have: English language skills

Education and Experience and/or equivalent

  • Completed as a warehouse logistics specialist or a comparable qualification

Physical demands

  • The role involves regular warehouse activities such as picking, packing, and material handling.
  • Occasional lifting and handling of heavier components or assemblies is required.
  • The role also involves prolonged standing and walking.
