Inside Sales Representative (EMEA)

As a sales team member, the Inside Sales Representative will be passionate, determined and driven to support the senior sales team by generating net new opportunities to drive and grow the sales pipeline. Therefore, we are looking for a Business Development/Inside Sales star to make an impact.

This role will be based in the UK, ideally out of our Cardiff office although there will be an element of flexibility around this. We require a self-starter who works with a sense of urgency to meet and exceed targets in partnership with our field sales team. Below is a list of what we’re looking for and the duties needed be successful in this role.

Duties

Key responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Identify ideal customer profiles and perform cold outreach to drive sales pipeline and top of funnel growth

  • Call into leads generated from our marketing efforts to drive quality net new opportunities, and consistent pipeline revenue growth

  • Call into existing clients to generate new opportunities by cross selling other technologies in our portfolio

  • Qualify marketing leads in a fast yet efficient manner, and provide internal feedback on campaign results

  • Consistent outreach activity using different channels of communication such as phone calls, email, LinkedIn, etc

  • Work closely with the Sales department to facilitate a smooth hand-off from early qualification to close

  • Perform lead qualification calls to determine which of our products is the best fit for the prospect

  • Work with sales leaders and enablement on coaching, sales strategies and campaigns

  • Work closely with the marketing team on specific and targeted campaigns

  • Occasionally support sales and marketing with onsite presence at trade shows

  • Creating, updating and maintaining records in Salesforce and running requested Sales reports

Qualifications

  • Media and Entertainment experience preferred

  • Start-up technology company experience strongly preferred

  • An understanding of industry of SAN/NAS/Object storage is an advantage, however not essential as training will be given

  • Ideal candidate will have prior experience with technology/software sales – Inside Sales/Account Management

  • Prior experience in a role with a successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals/monthly quotas

  • Excellent communication skills, organizational, verbal and written

  • Manage large customer call volume on a daily basis through strong phone presence and effective communication

  • Driven to get results and achieve goals while maintaining top level integrity and a strong work ethic

  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Attention to detail and able to prioritise tasks

  • Positive attitude, passionate team player, and “Hunter” mentality to drive new qualified pipeline generation/growth

Education/Experience:

  • 2 yrs.+ of relevant experience – SW services, complementary technology, or media & entertainments

  • Ideal candidate will have prior experience with technology/software sales -Inside Sales/Account Management

  • Prior experience in a role with a successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals/monthly quotas

  • Good working knowledge of Salesforce, helping to maintain a CRM platform for our customer accounts and sales lead activities.
