Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Instructional Designer specializing in Sales Enablement to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design and develop engaging, high-impact learning experiences that support the growth and performance of our sales teams. You will be responsible for creating interactive, multimedia-rich content, including microlearning modules, video lessons, and eLearning courses, to enhance the skills and capabilities of our sales professionals. This is an exciting opportunity for an instructional designer who is passionate about developing sales talent through modern learning solutions and effective training methodologies.
Responsibilities:

Instructional Design & Content Development:

  • Design and develop engaging sales enablement programs using a variety of delivery methods, including microlearning, video-based learning, eLearning modules, virtual training, and blended learning.
  • Create multimedia-rich learning materials, including short and impactful video content, interactive eLearning modules, job aids, sales playbooks, PowerPoint presentations, and other training collateral.
  • Integrate microlearning techniques to deliver concise, focused learning experiences that allow learners to quickly grasp and apply sales concepts and strategies.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and the sales team to develop dynamic, learner-centered content that enhances sales effectiveness and supports business goals.
  • Use popular authoring tools like Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Lectora, Camtasia, or other authorizing tools to develop eLearning courses, video content, and interactive learning materials.

Project Management:

  • Lead the development and execution of multiple sales training projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Create and maintain project plans with clear timelines and milestones to ensure smooth delivery of sales enablement programs and materials.
  • Oversee the implementation of learning initiatives, including user acceptance testing, train-the-trainer programs, and socialization of new content.

Stakeholder & Client Engagement:

  • Engage regularly with stakeholders, including sales leaders, to gather feedback and ensure training programs are aligned with sales team needs and organizational objectives.
  • Work closely with business leaders to ensure that sales enablement solutions address both current challenges and long-term growth goals.

Program Evaluation & Improvement:

  • Develop and implement follow-up assessments to measure the effectiveness and impact of sales training programs, using feedback, performance data, and key metrics.
  • Continuously refine and enhance learning programs based on evaluation results, feedback, and industry best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in sales enablement, instructional design, and learning technologies to integrate new methods into training solutions.

Facilitation Guide & Material Support:

  • Create facilitator guides, trainer resources, and support materials to ensure effective and consistent delivery of sales enablement programs.
  • Support live virtual training sessions by ensuring that learning objectives are met and content is engaging for participants.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in instructional design, with at least 2 years focused on sales enablement or developing training content for sales teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Sales, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with a variety of learning technologies, including Learning Management Systems and Sales Enablement Platforms (e.g., Docebo, ShowPad, etc.), CRM systems (such as Salesforce), video creation tools (e.g., Camtasia, Adobe Premiere Pro), and eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Lectora, Vyond).
  • Proven ability to design and create engaging microlearning and video-based learning experiences that resonate with adult learners in a sales environment.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and the ability to choose the appropriate delivery format for different learning objectives.
  • Expertise with eLearning development tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Vyond) and content creation platforms.
  • Ability to create high-quality video and multimedia assets that engage and motivate learners.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and with the training team (Sales Enablement Manager and Learning & Development Program Leader) to create learning solutions that meet sales enablement goals.
  • Experience with sales teams using MEDDPICC methodologies to drive a more consistent, efficient, and successful sales cycle a plus.
