Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for a new residential design firm called 'Groundline Architecture Studio.' Our current portfolio is traditional/transitional, but we are pursuing more clients with a more modern aesthetic and would like our logo to reflect that goal without using distinct architectural forms (such as pitched roofs, windows, or the like). While the main use will be for branding and website, the logo will ideally have a color block element that can be used as part of our title blocks and stationery. We're currently using a simple typographic logo, which is attached (but we are not attached to the design!). Our website, which is in progress, is www.groundline.studio.

The groundline is the basis of our built environment. It is the foundation of our relationship with the world. It is where earth and sky communicate.
