Logo Design Brief

I have a small investment firm called Streetlight Capital and am looking for a logo for it. We're not a venture capital firm but I'd probably steer more in that direction than private equity or hedge funds which tend to be a little more formal and stuffy.

Requirements
Nice to have
  • I'm most interested logos that are cleaner and more modern, not heavy or highly detailed. I'm inclined to have a logo that incorporates an abstract image as well as the words "Streetlight Capital" though I am open to something that just has the words in a good color/font/spacing combo. I could see an abstract version of a streetlight being interesting but am not sure I want to be so on-the-nose. Abstracted versions of "SC" might be interesting as well (I like the Bandit Running Company logo but it's a little too trendy/stylized). I like fonts like Inter or the font that Google uses although those are probably too simple for an interesting logo.
Should not have
  • I don't want any cliche investment firm symbols like trees or mountains. I don't want anything that feels like it's trying to convey old-world prestige like lions or deer or heavy books.
