Logo Design Brief

**DesignCrowd Brief – Keystone House Logo & Brand Icon**

Please create a new logo for **Keystone House**, based on and inspired by the attached logo for our neighbouring pub, **The Scottish Stores**.

### Background

Keystone House is a 41-bedroom hotel in King's Cross, London.

The Scottish Stores pub sits within the same building and is operated by the same business. In fact, the pub also serves as the hotel reception area, so guests regularly interact with both brands as part of a single experience.

Because of this, I would like the Keystone House branding to feel closely connected to The Scottish Stores branding, creating familiarity and consistency across both businesses.

The goal is **not** to copy the Scottish Stores logo, but to create a logo that clearly feels like a sister brand designed by the same designer as part of the same branding project.

### Design Requirements

* Clean, premium, hospitality-focused branding.
* Black and white version as the primary design.
* Modern, timeless and high-end.
* Typography-led design.
* Similar visual style, proportions and feel to the attached Scottish Stores logo.
* Suitable for a boutique London hotel.
* Must work on:

* Website
* Hotel signage
* Key cards
* Guest communications
* Social media
* Uniforms
* Print material

### Typography

* I particularly like the bold geometric typography used in "SCOTTISH STORES".
* I also like the handwritten script style used in "The".
* Feel free to take inspiration from both elements while creating something unique for Keystone House.

### Icon Requirement

I would also like a standalone icon that can be used independently of the text logo.

I have attached an example icon style that I like.

My initial thought is a simplified **Keystone-shaped architectural icon** with a subtle **"KH"** incorporated within the design, but I am open to creative suggestions.

The icon should be:

* Instantly recognisable.
* Simple and memorable.
* Work at very small sizes.
* Suitable for social media profile images and favicons.
* Look premium rather than corporate.
* Feel connected to the hotel name and building.
