Logo Design Brief

ABOUT HUNTRA
HUNTRA is an all-in-one SaaS app for hunters in the German-speaking region (DACH: Germany, Austria, Switzerland). Hunters use it to manage their hunting territory on a map, run AI analysis on trail-camera photos, and plan hunts. Audience: traditional, nature-connected, pragmatic — NOT a hip-tech startup. Think premium outdoor / optics brands (binoculars, riflescopes), calm and high-quality — not gaming, not consumer tech.

Wordmark (always uppercase): HUNTRA
Tagline: HUNT SMARTER

WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR A BRAND NEW LOGO. We already have a logo — a golden stag antler on deep forest green, with the wordmark HUNTRA and the tagline HUNT SMARTER. We want two things:
1) A refinement of the existing antler mark and, above all, of the wordmark TYPOGRAPHY (currently plain Arial/Helvetica Bold — it looks generic; we want something distinctive, premium and DACH-appropriate).
2) A scalable VARIANT SYSTEM (this is the core of the job — see below).

FIXED — DO NOT CHANGE
- Core symbol stays a stag antler (gold/bronze).
- Color combination is mandatory and must not be changed. Use exactly these three tones:
• Background: #0C2519 (deep forest green)
• Mark / antler: #DF9633 (gold / bronze)
• Wordmark: #F2F1EA (off-white)
No new colors, no foreign-color gradients, no recoloring. Shades/transparencies of the SAME tones are fine if they help legibility.
- Wordmark HUNTRA + tagline HUNT SMARTER stay part of the full logo.

YOU MAY IMPROVE
- The antler's execution (line work, level of detail, symmetry, stylization) — as long as it remains recognizable as an antler and legible as a small icon (16–32 px).
- The wordmark typography (make it distinctive and premium).
- Proportions, spacing and arrangement in the full logos.
- Icon / app-icon suitability (reduction to the essentials for favicon / app icon).

CORE OF THE JOB — VARIANT SYSTEM
We need a system, not a single logo: the base logo PLUS module-specific variants that add ONE clear thematic element to the antler, consistent in the same style and the fixed palette.
- REQUIRED example: a learning-platform variant = antler WITH a graduation cap (mortarboard).
- Provide 2–3 more example variants to prove the system scales, eg:
• trail camera module (antler with a subtle camera / lens element)
• map / territory module (antler with a map / pin element)
- The add-on element must dock onto the mark in a clear, repeatable "slot" so we can add more modules later in the same style (same line weight and visual language) without reinventing the logo.

DELIVERABLES
- Vector (required): SVG AND one editable source (AI / EPS / PDF) — fully editable paths, text converted to outlines AND kept as a live text layer.
- Grid: transparent PNGs in several sizes (at least 1024×1024 app icon, plus 512, 180, 32).
- Full copyright / usage rights on the final files.
- Per variant, deliver at minimum:
• Mark (antler only, transparent background)
• Icon / Square (antler on a rounded forest-green tile — app icon / favicon)
The BASE logo also as:
• Stacked (antler + HUNTRA + HUNT SMARTER, vertical)
• Horizontal (antler left, wordmark + tagline right)
- Dark & light: primary look is on forest green (dark). Also provide a version that works on a light background (eg gold/bronze antler + wordmark in forest green on off-white) — WITHOUT introducing new colors.

DO
- Keep the exact 3-color palette.
- Stay legible as a small icon (silhouette test at 24 px).
- Build one consistent, extensible variant system.
- Keep it premium, calm, "outdoors / forest".

DON'T
- No new colors / foreign gradients / recoloring.
- No generic forest clip-art, no crosshairs or weapon motifs (positioning is nature, not shooting).
- No playful "tech-hip" trends that will look dated in two years.
- Never distort the wordmark; don't drop the tagline (except in mark-only versions).

Reference logo files and two product screenshots (login screen + territory map) are attached so you can see the current state and the context the logo lives in.

Target Market(s)

Licensed hunters in the German-speaking region (DACH: Germany, Austria, Switzerland) — roughly 600,000 hunting license holders. Traditional, nature-connected, pragmatic adults with a premium outdoor / optics mindset (binoculars, riflescopes). Primarily a B2C app; also B2B for forestry operations and public authorities.

Requirements
Nice to have
  • I would also like the antler element to be further refined. At the moment, it feels a little too angular and rigid. Please feel free to explore alternative antler shapes that are more natural, organic, and elegant while maintaining a strong, recognizable silhouette. The antler design is not fixed and may be redesigned if it helps create a more premium, modern, and distinctive brand identity. The overall goal is to achieve a balanced look that feels high-quality, authentic, and visually memorable.
