Logo Design Brief

We are looking for a clean, modern logo for a franchise development company called Banyan Street Brands. Our current logo, we like, but feel it is too corporate-feeling and colors are a bit bland.
We want an updated design that should communicate fun and a warmer feel as lots of our clients are family-oriented or entertainment concepts.
We want a banyan tree or some portion of a banyan tree incorporated in some way.
We want to avoid clip art and anything overly complex/dated. Logo should be versatile and work across our website, LinkedIn, digital marketing, and other online platforms.
