Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for a church I'm planting. It needs to fit well with all different types of apparel. I want the logo to be respectable, but still different from a traditional church. I could go one of two routes with a logo- classic word based or sporty (I'm an F1 fan so I'm partial to these styles). Lastly, it can't feel feminine or whimsy, it's gotta be bold. The name Risen comes from the idea that Jesus has Risen from the grave & that same power now lives in us, his believers. Our church is focused on raising up the next generation to plant more churches in university cities. The final design has to communicate that the church is bold, different, young, and fun.
