Logo Design Brief

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for a professional logo that will represent my personal brand for many years to come.

The logo should feature my full name: Vasili Skakun. My preference is a typographic logo using my full name, not just initials or a monogram. However, if you believe an alternative concept (such as a monogram) genuinely strengthens the identity, feel free to include it as an additional proposal.

About Me:

I am a professional photographer specializing in architecture, interior design, and hospitality photography. My clients include architects, interior designers, construction companies, hotels, vacation rentals, B&Bs, restaurants, and businesses. I also create corporate and business portraits, as well as food & beverage photography.

Overall, my work is strongly connected to the worlds of architecture, design, real estate, premium hospitality, and business.

What I'm Looking For
I want the logo to be:
Clean and minimal.
Elegant and timeless.
Creative, but always refined and sophisticated.
Modern without being trendy.
Strong without being aggressive.
Suitable for a premium target.
Easy to recognize and memorable.

Please don't be afraid to be creative. I'm not looking for something generic or predictable. I appreciate original ideas and meaningful concepts, but creativity should always be expressed through elegance, simplicity, and thoughtful design.

The logo should have personality while remaining balanced, timeless, and highly professional.

I do not want overly decorative shapes, excessive curves, flashy effects, or unnecessary graphic elements. Simplicity, proportion, and attention to detail are far more important than complexity.

The Most Important Requirement
I will not evaluate designs based only on how they look.

I want every designer to explain the thinking and philosophy behind the logo.

Why did you choose that typography?
Why those proportions?
Why that symbol (if any)?
What message does it communicate?

This logo will represent my name and my business for the next 10 years or more, so the concept and reasoning behind the design are just as important as the visual result.

Projects submitted without an explanation of the creative process and design philosophy will not be considered.
