Logo Design Brief

Context
LAVHO is the new brand of an existing French company, rebranding from the ground up. We need a new logo. The brand targets demanding specifiers — architects, designers, project owners — in premium markets.

What we do
We design, fabricate and install custom washbasins, countertops and cladding in Solid Surface — a seamless, repairable, hygienic composite material. Our craft: turning a project constraint into a unique, technically flawless piece. We work across three worlds: hospitality (hotels, spas, restaurants), healthcare (clinics, care residences) and workplace (offices, reception areas). Our signature is delivering what others call impossible, with a jeweller's precision on material and water.

The name
LAVHO reads as one word. "LAV" hints at the word LAVATORY - the basin / washing; "HO" is open and needs no definition. The logo shouldn't try to explain the name — just set it down with confidence.

A wordmark (with symbol) for a premium, clean, professional brand.

Maximum legibility, at every scale (engraved on product to large format)
Minimalist, timeless, no effects
Typography as the heart of the identity
Works in monochrome (black, white, one neutral tone)
Delivered as: horizontal version, symbol alone, favicon

Avoid
No "WordArt" effects, no gradients, no loud colours, no water-drop or tap imagery, no literal symbolism. Restraint, not demonstration.

Deliverables
Vector files (AI/SVG/PDF), colour and mono versions, positive and negative, short usage guide.

Reference brands (for standing, not to copy)

To convey the level of positioning and design language we're aiming for, here are three brands whose aesthetic and standing inspire us:

Falper (Italy) — architectural, sculptural, high-end bathroom design → https://falper.it/en/
Vallone (Germany) — minimalist Corian/solid-surface washbasins, refined and timeless → https://www.vallone.de/en
The Splash Lab (UK) — "bathroom architecture," premium washroom products for hospitality and commercial spaces → https://thesplashlab.com/uk/

The goal is not to imitate them, but to sit at the same level of restraint, quality and professionalism.
