Logo Design Brief

Basaltic is a Brazilian cloud provider. We sell compute, storage, databases, and networking to developers and technical teams, with pricing in reais, data hosted in Brazil, and support in Portuguese. Our audience is engineers, not enterprise procurement — the brand should read as technical, precise, and infrastructure-grade rather than playful or startup-cute.

A wordmark with an icon to its left. The full lockup should work as a site header, and the icon alone must work as a favicon, app icon, and console avatar.

Our name comes from basalt, a volcanic rock that cools into hexagonal columns. That geometry — modular, stacked, dense — is a strong starting point, but we're open to other interpretations of the same idea: solidity, structure, foundations. Geometric or technical sans-serif typography. Clean enough to sit next to a terminal.

Please avoid: literal fluffy clouds, swooshes, globes, drawings of servers or data centers, and gradients that die in single color.

Primary icon color is #0891b2. We need the following variants delivered:

Icon in #0891b2 with black text (light backgrounds)
Icon in #0891b2 with white text (dark backgrounds)
All-black monochrome
All-white monochrome

The logo must stay legible in one color, since it will be printed, embroidered, and etched.

Vector source files (AI, EPS, or SVG) plus PNG exports. Include the horizontal lockup, an icon-only mark, and the four color variants above. Fonts must be commercially licensed or converted to outlines, and the design must be original — we take full ownership of the winning entry.
