Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Office Facility Engineer / Manager to join our team in Hoofddorp, Netherlands. In this on-site role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our office facilities, ensuring a safe, efficient, and comfortable work environment for our employees.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive facility management strategies and policies
  • Oversee daily operations of office facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and renovations
  • Manage and optimize building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for facility-related services and projects
  • Develop and manage facility budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations
  • Implement and monitor energy management and sustainability initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
  • Conduct regular facility inspections and risk assessments
  • Manage space planning and allocation to optimize office layout and functionality
  • Oversee security systems and emergency preparedness plans
  • Collaborate with other departments to address facility-related needs and concerns

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility management or a related role
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Experience in budget management and cost control
  • Strong project, vendor management and negotiation skills
  • In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or LEED AP are preferred
  • Ability to work on-site in Hoofddorp, Netherlands
