*Bid Specialist

Role Summary:

The Bid Specialist PN- 3 is responsible for driving medium to high-profile deals that require product/services level industry expertise and an in-depth understanding of GTT internal systems in order to process quote requests and projects in CMD. The position will also assist in project managing the opportunities through the life cycle of quoting (facilitate the timely input from the Quoting and Supplier Management Teams) and presenting the outputs to the Pricing Team.



Job Scope/Supervision:

The Bid Specialist will interface with varying levels in the business from Sales reps to SVPs.



Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure completion and accuracy of quotes to enable and assist with SOF creation from quote tool for complex orders.

Ensure that the team members are properly trained in all facets of their job responsibilities, including systems training, product knowledge, business process knowledge, client care and best practices

Engage with Quoting Managers to monitor the completion of projects to meet timelines. Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills.

Utilizes expertise to create projects logically, ensures data integrity of requests, and works with stakeholders to ensure accurate information


*Manager, Complex Bids

Role Summary:



The Complex Bid Manager is responsible for driving offer management support for deals that require product/services level industry expertise and an in-depth understanding of GTT internal systems in order to process quote requests and projects in CMD.





Job Scope/Supervision:

The position will also assist in project managing the opportunities through the life cycle of quoting with the Quoting Team and pricing with the Complex Bids Pricing Team. Typically, interfacing with varying levels in the business from Sales reps to SVPs.



Duties and Responsibilities:

Able to lead project kick-off calls and managed virtual teams.

Utilizes expertise to create projects logically, ensures data integrity of requests, works with stakeholders to ensure accurate information

Understanding of the cost base of GTT’s products and services

Engage with Quoting Managers to monitor the completion of projects to meet timelines.

Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills.

Ensure completion and accuracy of quotes to enable and assist with SOF creation from quote tool for complex orders

Ensures allocated resources are aligned with current and forecasted work in terms of capability, quantity, timing, and efficiency

Ensure that the team members are properly trained in all facets of their job responsibilities, including systems training, product knowledge, business process knowledge, client care, and best practices

Provides line management and technical support to assigned leaders, including training, development, and performance review of assigned staff.
