Role Summary:

The Quoting team is composed of highly-skilled individuals covering a range of disciplines including project management, supplier management during the presales process, OLO quotation and management, project management, service delivery assistance concerning OLOs, as well as close collaboration with the Sales Teams and Pre-Sales teams to ensure highest quality in delivery of customer service solutions. Day-to-Day relations with vendors aiming to get Competitive quotes on time for OLO Products aligned with the Technical requirements for the end customer Product Solution

Job Scope:

This role interacts with Sales, Sales Engineering and Products, Carrier Commercial Operations team, Services Delivery teams, team and Regional Operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

On behalf of the sales force and sales engineering, obtain and administer tail pricing for a specific set of regions to be allocated according to the needs of the Team to locations off-net to the GTT backbone and Metro networks.

Day-to-Day relations with Vendors aiming to get Competitive quotes on time for Vendor Products aligned with the Technical requirements for the end customer Product Solution

Align End customer technical solution and GTT Product with the Vendor Tail Technical Requirements, thus identifying the most suitable Vendor products to be quoted

To be the first point of escalation on quote requests - i.e. chasing, communicating with Vendors regarding quotes

To negotiate prices (i.e. to seek reductions when quotes are confirmed prior to order, to obtain discounts on bundled deals) with Vendors

Focus on timeliness of tail quotes, accuracy of quote and RFS dates, and balancing best tail price, delivery timescales and supplier quality.

Assist in maintaining a database of quotes provided, to ensure we are able to estimate budgetary costs where speed is essential and to track same and/or similar requests coming in from different parties.

Provide feed-back to Sales and presales teams regarding more specific project and technical details and information, and regarding Carrier commercial matters

Assist with any additional administrative requirements (filing of historical data) when required

Produces Reports on a timely manner to ensure that quotes are up-to-date and to measure performance of vendors

Acts as first point of escalation with the Vendors and with the Internal Stake-Holders (Sales teams);

Escalates any issues with the Vendors of the set of Regions to the Line Manager and the respective Carrier commercial manager/s on a daily and weekly basis.

Manages the day to day relationship with the Vendors under the supervision of the Off-net Pricing Manager and/or the resp. Carrier Commercial Manager;

Major Bids inner and inter team coordination

Build out regional expertise for senior quoting team members with the aim of making senior team members true business partners for the regional SVPs

Drive for correct vendor information (on provided price books / API’s etc.) in CMD with support of vendor management (Wayne Hobden). Host bi-weekly calls with Vendor Management to discuss progress.

Facilitate training with a focus on uploading complex/large deals in the quoting tool AND host daily clinic calls with deal teams
