Role Summary:
The pricing team is responsible for the commercial approval of orders brought into the business, from small deals up to multi-million-pound bids. They also provide reporting information on prices and margins that allow the larger business decisions to be taken.
Job Scope/Supervision:
The pricing team works closely with the bid management team to ensure that GTT can provide fast responses to any RFPs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop an understanding of the cost base of all of GTT’s products and services.
- Engage with Pricing Manager and assist in pricing deals and bids.
- Price non-standard deals manually, where required.
- Escalate other pricing requests to the relevant Product Manager as fast and efficiently as possible.
- Facilitate the rapid closure of deals while also optimizing GTT’s margins.
- Assist the bid team with bid coordination when required.
- Ad hoc requests
Required Experience/Qualifications:
- Professional and articulate.
- Able to communicate effectively with internal and external parties.
- Numerate.
- Ability to work in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Flexible and self-motivated, team player.
- Must have excellent spoken and written English.
- Good Excel skills; ideally to include; Pivot Tables and VLookUp
