Grow Your Career with GTT!

Join GTT to be part of a global mission to simply and securely connect people and data through innovative, AI-driven solutions. We empower curious, adaptive professionals to take ownership of their work, offering a culture where your ideas have a visible, real-world reach. If you are energized by complex challenges and a supportive team that lifts each other up, GTT is the place to build a rewarding career.

Redefine how financial integrity, automation, and operational excellence scale across a global enterprise.

At GTT, we’re looking for a transformative leader who can lead enterprise‑wide initiatives that protect margin, improve cost efficiency, and modernize finance‑adjacent operations through automation and data‑driven execution. As the Senior Director of Finance Assurance & Transformation, you will own the outcomes that protect the core of our business ensuring accuracy, reliability, and scalability across processes that directly influence revenue, cost of delivery, and financial performance.

This role is distinct from traditional Finance leadership positions, unlike those, this position operates horizontally across Finance, Operations, Sales, Product, IT, and Legal to build upon, integrate, and industrialize the work of those teams - not to duplicate it. Success is measured by tangible business outcomes (margin protection, cost efficiency, data reliability), not by reports produced or processes owned.

If you thrive in ambiguity, see patterns in complexity, and love transforming manual, error‑prone processes into intelligent, technology‑enabled systems, this is your opportunity to make enterprise‑wide impact. The role combines deep operational and financial assurance expertise with hands‑on transformation leadership, including robotic process automation (RPA), analytics, AI‑enabled automation, and system modernization. What you deliver will touch every corner of GTT, shaping the integrity of our data, the accuracy of our financials, and the efficiency of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Assurance & Margin Integrity

  • Own and lead end‑to‑end financial and operational assurance initiatives, with a primary focus on margin integrity, billing accuracy, vendor invoicing accuracy, and COR reliability.
  • Conduct operational and financial audits to identify root cause issues in processes, data, and controls; convert findings into actionable remediation and automation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Internal Audit while maintaining clear separation between audit independence and operational execution.

Automation, Process Engineering & Transformation

  • Serve as a subject‑matter expert in RPA platform strategy, automation architecture, and automation lifecycle management – identify design, prioritize, and deploy automation solutions delivering efficiency, cost reduction, and risk mitigation.
  • Apply Lean/Six Sigma and process engineering methodologies to redesign end-to-end workflows for scalability, control, and operational excellence.

AI Enabled Automation & Enablement

  • Lead delivery of AI driven workflows and intelligent agents, ensuring safe, structured, and scalable implementation.
  • Establish rigorous requirements, documentation, control considerations, and user enablement standards for AI solutions.
  • Cross functional Collaboration: translate business problems into well scoped AI automation use cases grounded in data integrity and repeatable logic.

Program, Portfolio & Delivery Leadership

  • Manage a portfolio of cross functional assurance and transformation initiatives using enterprise program and project management practices.
  • Set governance, success metrics, reporting, and prioritization frameworks, present progress, risks, and value realization to executive stakeholders.

Systems, Data & Business Intelligence

  • Lead initiatives involving business applications, data flows, and system integrations to improve accuracy, consistency, and usability.
  • Partner with IT and analytics to deliver BI driven transformation solutions and outcomes.
  • Ensure transformation initiatives are grounded in facts, data, and repeatable logic rather than manual workarounds.

Cross Functional Influence & Partnership

  • Act as a trusted partner to Sales, Operations, Finance, Product, IT, and Legal, driving alignment through data‑backed insights and objective analysis.
  • Extend and industrialize existing functional initiatives through assurance, automation, and scalable execution rather than duplicating functional ownership.
  • Influence without authority by articulating risks, opportunities, and trade-offs clearly and credibly.

Team Leadership & Capability Building

  • Build, lead, and develop high‑performing teams across margin assurance, transformation, analytics, and automation.
  • Establish a culture focused on execution, continuous improvement, and pragmatic problem‑solving.
  • Reduce reliance on external vendors by developing durable internal capabilities.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in finance assurance, operational audit, transformation, automation, or related disciplines.
  • Expertise in RPA, including designing and delivering automations, governance, exception handling, and enterprise‑scale deployment.
  • Extensive experience leading large‑scale, cross‑functional transformation and process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong background in operational and financial audits, including billing accuracy, vendor invoicing accuracy, and end‑to‑end assurance.
  • Training or practical experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous‑improvement methodologies.
  • Proven track record of leading system implementations, upgrades, or modernization efforts.
  • Experience with enterprise portfolio management, vendor management, business applications, process architecture, and business intelligence.
  • Experience delivering AI‑enabled automation programs, including requirements definition, documentation, change management, and adoption enablement.

The ideal candidate is:

  • Equally comfortable in process detail and executive‑level discussion
  • Data‑driven, pragmatic, and execution‑oriented
  • Able to bridge strategy and delivery
  • Skilled at influencing across organizational boundaries
  • Motivated by building scalable solutions rather than one‑off fixes

Desirable Experience & Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or similar).
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, PMP, Six Sigma Black Belt, or equivalent.
  • Experience in complex, data‑intensive, or highly operational environments (e.g., telecommunications, technology‑enabled services, infrastructure‑heavy industries).

Hours/Travel/Shift:

Remote position with some travel for meetings (5-10%).
