Position Summary
As an Application Specialist, you will be a key resource supporting clinical sales and driving the adoption and expansion of Haemonetics’ Plasma & Blood Center product line across your territory. Your main focus will be training nurses and healthcare staff in private plasma collection centres and blood centres, ensuring safe, efficient, and independent use of our technology. You will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and cross-functional teams to provide expert clinical education and ongoing support to customers.
What Will You Be Doing?
Manage and grow product utilization within your assigned territory (southern Germany) and provide clinical support in Austria and Switzerland
Train new and existing customers — mainly nurses and clinical staff — on all aspects of Haemonetics’ plasma and blood centre equipment, software, and disposables, through a mix of didactic sessions and hands-on training
Support “go-live” activities at customer sites, providing dedicated onsite training and case support during implementation
Build and maintain strong, multi-level relationships with clinical champions, key decision-makers, and end users
Resolve clinical, operational, and technical issues promptly, working closely with internal teams to develop solutions
Drive revenue growth by expanding product usage and supporting adoption of new devices and software upgrades
Document and report customer interactions and case feedback using our CRM system
Represent Haemonetics at regional and national trade shows and customer events
Stay current on industry trends, competitor products, and clinical best practices
About Yourself
Bachelor’s degree in science, nursing, medical technology, or any related field
3+ years of experience with medical devices (plasma collection devices preferred) or relevant clinical fields, preferably with complex technologies
Strong clinical and technical aptitude, comfortable training healthcare professionals and supporting product adoption
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build relationships across all levels
Self-motivated and highly organized with strong project management skills
Fluent in German and English
Willing and able to travel extensively (50-75%) within your territory and neighbouring countries
