Position Summary

As an Application Specialist, you will be a key resource supporting clinical sales and driving the adoption and expansion of Haemonetics’ Plasma & Blood Center product line across your territory. Your main focus will be training nurses and healthcare staff in private plasma collection centres and blood centres, ensuring safe, efficient, and independent use of our technology. You will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and cross-functional teams to provide expert clinical education and ongoing support to customers.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Manage and grow product utilization within your assigned territory (southern Germany) and provide clinical support in Austria and Switzerland

  • Train new and existing customers — mainly nurses and clinical staff — on all aspects of Haemonetics’ plasma and blood centre equipment, software, and disposables, through a mix of didactic sessions and hands-on training

  • Support “go-live” activities at customer sites, providing dedicated onsite training and case support during implementation

  • Build and maintain strong, multi-level relationships with clinical champions, key decision-makers, and end users

  • Resolve clinical, operational, and technical issues promptly, working closely with internal teams to develop solutions

  • Drive revenue growth by expanding product usage and supporting adoption of new devices and software upgrades

  • Document and report customer interactions and case feedback using our CRM system

  • Represent Haemonetics at regional and national trade shows and customer events

  • Stay current on industry trends, competitor products, and clinical best practices

About Yourself

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, nursing, medical technology, or any related field

  • 3+ years of experience with medical devices (plasma collection devices preferred) or relevant clinical fields, preferably with complex technologies

  • Strong clinical and technical aptitude, comfortable training healthcare professionals and supporting product adoption

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build relationships across all levels

  • Self-motivated and highly organized with strong project management skills

  • Fluent in German and English

  • Willing and able to travel extensively (50-75%) within your territory and neighbouring countries

What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary plus performance-related bonus scheme

  • Company car or allowance for travel within the territory

  • Comprehensive training and professional development opportunities
