Job Details
The Senior Compensation Manager, reporting to the VP of Global Total Rewards, is responsible for managing the compensation function and assists in planning, developing, and implementing new and revised compensation programs, policies, and procedures to align with the company's goals and competitive practices. This position is also responsible for ensuring that the company's global compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with internal policies and government regulations.
Oversees the development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs, including survey participation, salary structure development, pay program administration, and other associated initiatives
Lead and support various compensation-related projects, including annual merit, bonus and equity cycle, market reviews, and compensation benchmarking.
Monitors the effectiveness of existing compensation practices and recommends cost-effective changes consistent with compensation trends and corporate objectives.
Partner with HR Business Partners and leadership teams to consult on compensation issues and provide support on complex compensation-related inquiries.
Oversees participation in salary surveys and monitors salary survey data to ensure corporate compensation objectives are achieved.
Complete compensation research and or/ analysis projects as assigned.
Assist in the creation and review of compensation communication materials. Create, maintain, and update documentation of process flows and administrative and standard operating procedures.
Assists VP of Global Total Rewards with executive compensation data needs
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
Use advanced Excel skills and HRIS tools to analyze and report compensation trends and make data-driven recommendations.
Education:
Required Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Certified Compensation Professional Certification (CCP)
Experience:
Required 10+ years of broad-based compensation experience, including equity experience, long term incentive plans, or ESPP
Required Sales compensation experience - ability to analyze data, evaluate pay mix, and deliver market-informed recommendations
Required Experience working in a global, publicly traded company
•xperience managing and/or providing directions to others
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Access & PowerPoint); Advanced Excel
Preferred Knowledge of Workday, Payfactors, and Fidelity (or other) equity administration platforms strongly
